Welcome to Shell Yeah at Sand Castle Village by KEES Vacations!

A relaxing setting overlooking the 12th green at the Nags Head Golf Links. Luxurious amenities like private pools and dedicated recreation rooms. Over 2300 square feet over three floors with multiple King En Suite. These are just a few things you will appreciate when you stay at Sandcastle Village at the Village at Nags Head.

Painted in cool neutral colors with rich black cabinetry and bright accent pieces, this home feels like a designer stepped in and waved a magic wand to and created this perfection just for you and your family to savor. Vaulted ceilings create an open and airy great room. The generous living area features a couch with a constructed-in chaise and two great, plush chairs. These items all center around the flat screen TV with a DVD, which may just entice the group to sit down together for a favorite TV show or movie. It's also the ideal spot to just hang out together, appreciating each other's company and creating new memories together. Sliding glass doors off the living area lead to a balcony with comfortable Adirondack chairs and a modest table. The ideal spot for your afternoon wine as you enjoy the lush greenery over the 12th green of the famed Nags Head Golf Links.

The chefs in the group will definitely be fighting each other to claim the spectacular kitchen! Dramatic dark wood cabinets, cool granite countertops and a humongous center island with seating for 3 with recessed and pendant lighting make this every chef's fantasy. Let the chefs battle it out for the kitchen domain while the rest of you act as the judges! The family can enjoy the fruits of that competition together as a group at the enormous wood dining table, with padded seating for 10. Another entrance to the private balcony is just through convenient sliding doors. A clean, sophisticated King En Suite completes this level. You will adore the lavish bathroom, with white subway tile shower and double vanities.

Moving down to the second level recreation room with a fun pool table and shuffleboard table. Hours of friendly competition will surely happen here. Another deck with two more Adirondack chairs also graces this level. Two King En Suites on this level (one convertible to two twins) offer magnificent privacy for two lucky couples.

The kids in the group may well lay claim to the first level in your Outer Banks vacation home. It's got everything for them! A den with the ideal TV for hooking up their game consoles (not supplied with rental), a wet bar and full refrigerator for their drinks and snacks. They've even got their own bedrooms down here. One with two sets of Bunk beds and the other with two Double beds, in addition to one full shared bath. And the best part? They're closest to the POOL!!! That would be your very own private 12x25 inground pool & new hot tub for 2021, surrounded by comfortable sun loungers. What better way could there be to spend a day on the Outer Banks than in the cool, exhilarating water of your own pool? We can't think of one!

Tips and Tricks to get the very best vacation property experience:

When to book & When to go:

  • The sooner your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked early. Booking your vacation home six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
  • Summer time is high season in Nags Head. Book your Nags Head rental property in the Spring or Fall to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Nags Head vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property management companies frequently offer their guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Nags Head area visitors guides which include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Nags Head visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

How to choose and book the perfect Nags Head vacation home:

  • Start by selecting vacation dates and a max budget.
  • Note the number beds and the configuration your group needs. Shell Yeah A Beautiful 5 Bedroom Luxury Home w\/ Private Pool has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is generally available online. If not, call the property owner before reserving the vacation property. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • If your group is traveling with pets, you will need a pet-friendly property. Request specifics on breed, size, and type requirements. Often, hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Visiting for a single attraction or event? Try a map search to find nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.

Know before you go:

  • Be sure you get the host's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, television set or WIFI setup. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents quite a few difficulties.
  • Lock your rental property while you are out! Don't let crooks ruin your vacation.
  • Make a record of any damages to the rental upon arrival, and immediately contact the host. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be helpful if damages are assessed.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors can be a great resource to find the best local beaches and hangouts.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Double-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed everything at check-out. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the property a final time and look for damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take photos and video of the property to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave a review! Hosts rely on good feedback to drive new reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will will be grateful for your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
