Sandpiper's Retreat is an absolute treat. Located on the oceanfront in the heart of Nags Head at around milepost 11.5, this bungalow is ideal for you and your extended family or friends. Cozy and tasteful furnishings and decor, 3 huge flatscreen TV's, and painless/private beach access are just a few of the features that will make your stay here fun and calming. Perhaps the best part of 'Sandpiper's Retreat' is the roomy oceanside porch where you can watch the sunrise over the Atlantic every day with your cup of coffee. The location right on the "beach road" makes for simple cycling or walking on the municipal bicycle path that runs the entire length of the town. This home is also just a short walk from multiple fashionable eateries and stores: Tortugas Lie, Lucky 12 Tavern, the Nags Head Fishing Pier, the Snowbird, etc. You cannot beat the convenience of a home that is just steps from the Atlantic Ocean yet still within a short walk or drive of all of the shopping and eating options that you need. Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
