This classic flat-top design home offers the ideal combination of comfort, convenience, and coastal living all while offering everything that you will need for an memorable OBX vacation. Take a dip in the private pool after a day at the beach, relax in the hot tub, and savor the short walk to the Abalone Beach access.

Start your mornings with a cup of coffee on the furnished screened-in porch or the front deck, soaking in the salt air. The kitchen, freshly refreshed with stainless steel appliances, is entirely equipped for preparing delicious meals, while the dining table seats the whole family. Want to dine in the fresh air? There's also a picnic area for dining outdoors, ideal for calming and dining under the stars. With 5 roomy bedrooms, including 4 queen beds, a pyramid bunk, and a twin bed, everybody will have their own comfortable space after a day of Outer Banks adventures. The home also features 2 separate dens, ideal for gathering together and relaxing.

Conch Shell Estate is located just mins. from the trendy Red Drum Tap House and the Seagreen Gallery, and just a short drive from area attractions such as The Wright Brother's Memorial and Jockey's Ridge State Park.

Beach Access: Conveniently located close to the Abalone Street beach access! Head south from the home and cross Virginia Dare Trail at the marked pedestrian cross walk to access beach. Paved parking lot and wooden walkway to allow painless access to the beach!

All reservations are offered to purchase travel insurance for an additional 7.75% of your rent and taxes. Please refer to the rental agreement you will be signing to accept or decline this coverage as your refund in the time of cancellation will be dependent on your acceptance in most situations. Agent recommends all Renters purchase travel insurance offered at time of booking to protect them in the event of an unexpected event affecting their vacation. Agent cannot offer future credits or immediate refunds for unexpected cancellations due to emergencies regardless of the situation, including but not limited to weather events and acts of God, unexpected illnesses, injury or death, changing of plans, or job loss. Please do not ask. All cancellations are subject to a fifty dollar ($50.00) cancellation fee. Cancellations must be submitted to Agent in writing (e-mail is acceptable). In the event of cancellation, no refund of monies paid will be made unless the Property is re-rented for the same price and time period of this original vacation rental agreement. If the Property is re-rented for a lesser price or time period, the original Tenant will receive a refund for the difference between the originally agreed upon rental amount and the rebooked rental amount as Owner is entitled to receive the full amount of the original rental agreement. Agent will make every effort to re-rent the Property at the full amount. Tenant acknowledges that Agent has full discretion on negotiating rental prices in an effort to get the Property re-rented and make the Owner whole, while also attempting to get the Tenant the highest refund possible.

Located in Nags Head, this vacation home is near the beach. Seaside Art Gallery and Wright Brothers National Memorial are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Destination Fun and Stop-N-Shop Beach Shop. How to get the best value:

  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer time is high season in the Nags Head area. Booking in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
  • Property management companies frequently offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses.   • Please make sure to walk through the rental one final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
