In fact, just a mile up the road is the Outer Banks Fishing Pier and Fish Heads Bar & Grille. While the anglers in your group will appreciate trying out their luck from the pier, everybody in your event will appreciate the oceanfront dining and fresh locally-caught seafood. Easily head over to Roanoke Island for the day to visit the site of the Lost Colony and observe sea life at the Aquarium or take a day trip to Cape Hatteras Seashore to discover the towns of Hatteras Island. Since you have a view of the lighthouse, it goes without saying that you should pay it a visit! Less than 5 miles south, stop by the historic Bodie Island Lighthouse and climb to the top for exceptional vistas of the sound and surrounding marshes. Located near the beach, this vacation home is in South Nags Head, a neighborhood in Nags Head. Mutiny Bay Adventure Golf and Full Throttle Speedway are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
