This home holds a special place in Outer Banks history, with one of its owners having worked alongside Carolista Fletcher Baum to protect and preserve Jockey’s Ridge from development. Thanks to their efforts, this towering natural wonder—the biggest active sand dune on the East Coast—remains a playground for adventure, exploration, and handsome sunsets. Today, Ridge Retreat II overlooks this iconic landscape, offering a really unique setting where history and nature meet.
