  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, elevator or appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents lots of problems.

  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically help. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • Re-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed everything on check-out day. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property one final time and scan for damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, remember to take photos of the rental to record its condition.

Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will will be grateful for your experience find their best rental home. Please be objective.
