This bungalow has been owned by the same family since 1980 and has been appreciated as a vacation site by many families and fishermen over the years. Previously, rented through a local agency, we manage it directly (retired and full time residents of Nags Head). We want you to appreciate a true beach experience. The location is ideal for beachcombers and nature lovers. (Milepost 21)-the southern side of S. Nags Head-close to the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center. Tips to get the perfect Nags Head vacation rental experience:

Get the most from your budget:

  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summertime is high season in the Nags Head area. To find the best rental for your budget, we highly recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Nags Head vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Booking websites frequently offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.
  • Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Nags Head area visitor guides that include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Nags Head area magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Filter your search:

  • Choose a group leader, choose your trip dates, and choose a budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration you need. Beach? We gotcha Beach-oceanside, only steps from uncrowded beautiful beach has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Nags Head rental home search.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is often accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, call the property manager before you reserve the vacation property. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull out couches in living rooms. You'll need to work out what configuration is suitable for your family.
  • Some properties allow pets, but others do not. Allowable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask the property manager about pets before booking.
  • Visiting for a specific event or attraction? Use a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all required amenities are available before booking

Know before you go:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Save the instructions to your smartphone, and take a printed backup.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Lock your rental while you are out and about. Keep your property safe!
  • To make certain damages aren't linked to your family's stay, inspect the property for any problem areas during check in. Speak to the rental manager immediately to document any issues. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant vacationers disrupting your peace. Use the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and attractions you would have not otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Re-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed all personal items at check-out. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the host whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave a review! Property owners rely on good feedback to stimulate more bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will will be grateful for your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
