"Shirl's Shores" is a 4 Bedroom, 2 bath classic beach bungalow, arranged with 2 bedrooms/1 bath on each side separated by a sizable open central living area. It is ideal for 1 or 2 families. SHIRL'S SHORES IS A 7 DAY, MINIMUM, SATURDAY TO SATURDAY ROTATION. Sleeps 8, with queen beds in 3 bedrooms and 2 twins in the 4th. This bungalow has been owned by the same family since 1980 and has been appreciated as a vacation site by many families and fishermen over the years. Previously, rented through a local agency, we manage it directly (retired and full time residents of Nags Head). We want you to savor a true beach experience. The location is ideal for beachcombers and nature lovers. (Milepost 21)-the southern side of S. Nags Head-close to the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center. Considering the ideal location, the prices are really value priced. In keeping with the goal of "economy pricing", linens are not standard. Guests would bring their own sheets (3 queens, 2 twins) & towels. Bedspreads, pillows, blankets, and bed pads are supplied. We can direct you to local linen services, should you need them.

Located near the beach, this vacation home is in South Nags Head, a neighborhood in Nags Head. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Mutiny Bay Adventure Golf and Full Throttle Speedway are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Get the most from your vacation rental budget:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Nags Head area. To get the best value, try changing your trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer excellent temperatures, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic.
  • In the Nags Head area, The earlier your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are booked early. Booking your rental property six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
